• Arches are portrait, not square. Each 15cm arch decal is 150mm wide by 225mm tall – the size in the name is the WIDTH, and the height is one and a half times that. Portrait photos fit beautifully; a wide landscape photo will need zooming in, so pick photos where the subject stands upright.
• Mind the curved top. The semicircular top trims away the upper corners of your photo. Keep faces – and anything important – inside the guide you see in the uploader, not at the very top.
• One person, or two. A single standing figure sits perfectly in an arch. Couples and full-length shots work well too; big wide groups suit our rectangle photo decals instead.
• Mix your shapes. Arch photo wall decals pair perfectly with our round, square and oval photo decals – a few arches through a grid of circles gives a wall its rhythm.
• Size for the space. Small arches (10–15cm) suit garlands, stair walls and grids; the larger sizes (20–40cm) stand alone as a feature.
• Suitable for most painted surfaces. Not recommended for brick or unpainted cement.
• Allow 30–40 days for newly painted walls to fully cure before applying decals.
